Gameplay

Blackjack UK has an RTP of 99.47%, which is lower than normal for Playtech blackjack games, but don’t think this means that you cannot win big in this game. It simply means that you may have to work more strategically to get those wins. Such an RTP is still very high for an RNG (random number generator) game. So, for a game of chance, you still have a high potential to win!

The rules in this game are classic Vegas Strip, so if you’re familiar with that game, you won’t have a problem with this one. • You play with a deck of 6 and not 4.
• You can play with as many as 5 hands all at the same time.

Here are the game features that you should understand better in Blackjack UK:

The Re-Split Feature – The one game feature that tilts this game in favour of the player is the Re-Split Feature. You can use the re-split feature if you end up getting another set of pairs. This will increase the number of hands you have to play and it also means that you have to make higher wagers.

This is a feature that should be used strategically so that you can increase your potential to win. Clearly, if you end up with two Aces, you should split. A soft 12 (which is what 2 Aces total) is weak and you would be better off taking a chance to increase your total and maybe even land two hands that total 21. Another hand that you should always re-split is a pair of 8s. If you don’t, you will end up with a hard 16, which means that your chances of winning that round drop significantly. If you split up the 8s, you get a chance to get a better total.

Hands that you should never re-split – are 9 and 10 pairs. Hard 18s and 20s are solid hands, giving you a good chance of winning against the dealer. Splitting such pairs is too risky and your chances of losing are just too high. Another pair that you should not split or re-split is the 5s. A hard 10 is easy to increase, but if you split (or re-split) and end up with a hard 15, you will most probably lose that round.

In Blackjack UK, all these strategies have been kept in mind in the rules of the game. So, you’re not allowed to re-split a 4-pair, a 5-pair, and a 10-pair, which should make perfect sense to you after reading our explanation of the re-splitting strategy. Furthermore, in this version of Blackjack, you can split as many as 4 hands, which means that you could end up playing 9 hands in one go!

The basic premise here is to use your Re-Split feature with careful thought. Of course, you also have to keep the dealer’s cards in mind when you’re opting to use this feature.

Blackjack UK Insurance

The Blackjack UK Insurance system is different from the standard game. In this game, you can only opt for insurance if you already have a blackjack and the face-up card the dealer has is an Ace. If these conditions are not met, then you cannot buy insurance in this game.

You also have the Fast Play mode in case you wish to increase the speed of your game. Another way to play quicker is by using the Rebet and Deal button – your bet from the previous game is duplicated and dealing is automatic. But you don’t get an autoplay mode in Blackjack UK.
