Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist is a Play'n GO slot released on 8 October 2026, starring Robbert Redtail the Fox in a neon, cyberpunk heist setting. It is a coin-collection game: a Fox on reel 5 gathers Coin values, Mystery symbols reveal Cashpots, and a separate Bonus Game fills an empty grid with Coins. The headline figures are a 5x4 grid, 20 paylines, an RTP of 96.2% in the highest of five versions, high volatility and a 15,000x maximum win, with bets from 0.10 to 50 per spin. Play'n GO does not print the RTP, volatility, maximum win, line count or bet range on its own game page or in its launch post; those figures come from published game data, so treat them with a little more caution than a studio's own numbers. The free demo above runs the studio's demo build with play money only.
How the Game Plays
The base game uses 5 reels and 4 rows with 20 paylines. Play'n GO's page mentions payline wins but gives no line count of its own, and it names a 5x4 grid only when describing the Bonus Game. Regular symbols pay along lines in the usual way. Symbol pay values are not published.
The engine of the base game is the Fox. It appears only on reel 5, substitutes for regular symbols and, whenever it lands, triggers Fox Collect, which pays the value of every Coin on screen. Coins can land on any reel with values of x0.2, x0.4, x0.6, x0.8, x1, x2 or x5, but they never form payline wins on their own. Without a Fox, Coins are just decoration. That is the key point for a session: most of a spin's value depends on reel 5.
The Fox may also carry an x2, x3, x5 or x10 multiplier, or none. Any multiplier applies to Fox wins and to collected Coin and Cashpot values, so a Fox with x10 over a screen of Coins is where base-game spikes come from.
Features and What They Mean
Mystery Symbol and Cashpot
A Mystery Symbol can land anywhere and opens to reveal a Cashpot of x10, x20, x50 or x100, paid at the end of the spin. The Cashpot is collected like a Coin, so a Fox multiplier applies to it as well. These are the largest fixed values in the base game and add meaningful upside to an otherwise modest coin ladder.
Bonus Game
Each Coin has a chance to trigger the Bonus Game, and 6 Coins in one spin guarantee it. Play'n GO does not say how big that chance is, so the trigger frequency is not published. The round starts on an empty 5x4 grid that holds only Coin and Mystery symbols, with 3 lives. Each spin uses a life; any new Coin or Mystery symbol resets the lives to 3. When the lives run out, the round pays the combined value of everything on the grid. This is the familiar hold-and-respin pattern: the outcome depends on how long the chain lasts and how many Mystery symbols turn into Cashpots.
GO Ultra Feature and Lucky Coin
When GO Ultra is enabled and the Bonus Game triggers, a Lucky Coin is added before the first spin. It moves after each spin and randomly activates one of two sides. The Collection Side absorbs adjacent symbols and adds their values to the Lucky Coin; the Doubling Side doubles adjacent values. Both act on positions directly above, below, left and right, and no symbol value can exceed x5000 the base bet. That x5000 figure is a cap on a single symbol inside GO Ultra, not the game's maximum win. Play'n GO does not publish what GO Ultra costs, how it is enabled or the RTP with it switched on, so a player cannot judge whether it is worth using.
Free Spins
Scatters appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and pay nothing themselves. Three of them award 10 Free Spins, and another three during the feature add 10 more, up to 100 Free Spins in total. A Fox is placed at a random position at the start and stays for the whole round, moving between spins with a fresh multiplier each time. Fox Collect stays active whenever Coins land, so the round effectively guarantees the collector that the base game has to wait for on reel 5. If a spin triggers the Bonus Game and Free Spins together, the Bonus Game plays first. The Free Spins trigger frequency is not published.
Robbert's heist gear visibly upgrades as Coins are gathered, but Play'n GO says this is cosmetic. It is not a progression mechanic and does not change any odds.
Reading the Maths
At 96.2% the house edge is 3.8% in the top version. That matches Pilgrim of Dead at 96.2% and sits just below Arctic Duel and Doctor Dust at 96.3%. On its own, that is a fair figure for a high-volatility slot.
- The problem is the spread. Four lower versions exist94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2% and 84.2%. At 84.2%, the house edge is 15.8%, more than four times the edge of the top version. Nothing published says which version a given casino runs, so the 96.2% headline is a best case, not a guarantee. Check the RTP in the game's rules at your casino before you stake anything; if it shows one of the lower versions, the maths is a different proposition.
- Not publishedhit rate, Bonus Game and Free Spins trigger frequency, GO Ultra's cost, activation and RTP, whether a bonus buy exists, which RTP version a casino runs, the probability of the maximum win and symbol pay values.

Who It Suits and Who Should Skip It
It suits players who enjoy coin-collection and hold-and-respin mechanics and accept high volatility. The rules are clearly written, the Cashpots give the base game real upside, and the Free Spins round fixes the base game's main weakness by keeping a Fox on the grid throughout.
Skip it if you want studio-published maths. Play'n GO's own page prints no RTP, volatility, maximum win or bet range, and the GO Ultra Feature has no published cost or RTP. Skip it too if you cannot confirm which RTP version your casino runs, because the lowest listed version is a poor deal. Casinofy is for players aged 18+, and real-money play should only take place at a casino licensed in the country where you live. If you are comparing this month's launches, our new slots page collects them in one place.
Verdict
Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist is a competent collection slot with a sensible structure: the Fox, Coins and Cashpots fit together, and the Free Spins round is the best-designed part of the game. At its top RTP and with a 15,000x cap, the numbers are reasonable. What holds it back is transparency. Play'n GO publishes none of the core figures on its own page, the RTP ladder drops as low as 84.2%, and GO Ultra arrives with no stated cost or return. It earns a solid score with real caveats, and the most important step for any player is checking the RTP at their casino first.
