7-Eleven Casino Deposits: Paying Cash at the Counter

In the United States, yes. Sports betting and online casino sites that are licensed in a US state can take cash deposits through PayNearMe, a payment company whose store network includes participating 7-Eleven branches. You get a barcode from the site's cashier, hand over cash at the counter, and the site is told about the payment within minutes.

Outside the United States the answer is no. PayNearMe's store network is in the US only, and the wallets inside 7-Eleven's own apps are for shopping at 7-Eleven, not for gambling.

Each site sets its own limits. William Hill's Nevada sports betting app, for example, allows PayNearMe deposits of up to $500 a day and $10,000 a month.

Fees depend on the site as well. PayNearMe says every fee is stated before you complete a payment, so check the figure before you hand over the cash.

The store counter takes deposits. For cash withdrawals, PayNearMe announced a separate service in November 2021 that pays out at cardless ATMs, where a site offers it. Otherwise your winnings come back through the payout methods listed in the cashier.

PayNearMe is a licensed money transmitter in the US states that require a licence. As of October 2026 it counts more than 62,000 participating stores across the country, including 7-Eleven, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General and Walmart.

Gambling deposits at 7-Eleven began in Nevada in June 2015, when William Hill added them to its sports betting app at more than 200 stores. In June 2021 PayNearMe announced approval from Michigan's gaming regulator to process online sports betting and casino payments there.

What you can fund depends on the state. Nevada's online gaming rules allow poker only, so there is no online casino to pay there, and William Hill's 7-Eleven deposits are for sports betting.

The method does not reach the UK or Europe, because PayNearMe has no stores outside the US.

The 7-Eleven Wallet is a balance inside the 7-Eleven app, launched in the United States in December 2020. You can load it with cash at the till, a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a 7-Eleven gift card. At launch 7-Eleven said it charges no loading or transaction fees.

It is a way to pay at participating US 7-Eleven stores. It is not a casino payment method and it plays no part in a PayNearMe deposit: the barcode you take to the counter comes from the betting site, not from the 7-Eleven app. Read the wallet terms in the app before you load money you may want back.

The same is true of 7-Eleven's apps elsewhere. In the Philippines, the CLiQQ Wallet is a loyalty app for cashless payment in 7-Eleven stores. It covers merchandise purchases only, with a cash-in limit of PHP 30,000 per user, so it cannot pay a gambling site. In Australia, 7-Eleven has removed the stored balance from its My 7-Eleven app.

If you want to pay a casino without a card, a prepaid voucher is the nearest equivalent to cash at a counter.
