Money Train 5 Slot Review

Money Train 5 is the fifth instalment in Relax Gaming's Money Train series, and Relax's news post announcing its launch is dated 24 September 2026. It runs on a 5x4 grid with 40 paylines and has two ceilings: 50,000x the bet in Standard Mode and 100,000x in Ultra Mode, with bets from €0.10 to €20.00 in Standard Mode and €0.10 to €10.00 in Ultra Mode. Relax does not print an RTP or a volatility rating on its own pages; public game data puts them at 96.1% and high. The free demo above runs the studio's demo build with play money only, so it costs nothing to try.

The base game is a line slot: five reels, four rows and 40 paylines, carrying returning favourites alongside three new characters, the Ticket Master, the Bomber and the Pyromancer. Relax's pages list no symbol values.

The base game pays line wins and can fire the Nuclear Wild on any spin, but the real target is three or more Bonus symbols, which open the bonus round where the multipliers, the spins and the train's journey through its stations sit. How often that round arrives is not published, and neither is how the RTP splits between the base game and the bonus. Relax's own summary is that the game “combines greater risk and unpredictability than ever before”, a warning worth taking at face value.

Nuclear Wild

The Nuclear Wild can trigger on any spin, locking onto reels and detonating them into full wild reels. Every payline passes through one position on each reel, so a reel that is wild on all four rows puts a wild on all 40 lines at once. How often it triggers and how many reels it can hit are not published, so do not plan a budget around it.

Bonus Symbols and the Bonus Round

Three or more Bonus symbols start the bonus round. In Relax's words, each symbol “adds a multiplier and 3 spins”, and new symbols reset the spins, so the round runs for as long as fresh Bonus symbols arrive. A round that keeps finding symbols builds on itself; one that stalls is over quickly. That spread between short and long rounds is a large part of what high volatility means here. The multiplier values are not in Relax's text.

Ticket Symbols and the Stations

Ticket symbols push the train forward through stations “toward its final destination”. Relax does not publish how many stations there are or what reaching each one does, so we cannot say what the journey is worth.

Ticket Master, Bomber and Pyromancer

Relax names these three new characters in both its launch post and its product page, but neither page says what they do, and we will not guess. The rules screen in the demo is the place to check.

Standard and Ultra Modes

On Relax's own figures the two modes meet at the top: 50,000x a €20.00 bet and 100,000x a €10.00 bet are the same cash sum. Ultra Mode therefore doubles the multiplier ceiling for anyone betting up to €10.00, but it does not raise the most the game can pay at its highest stake. What Ultra Mode costs in return, whether in the price of a spin, the RTP or how often features land, is not published.

Buy Feature

Relax mentions multiple Buy Feature options but lists no prices, no count and no RTP for a bought feature. On a high-volatility game, buying a feature turns a session's risk into one large decision, so check the price in the game first and leave it alone if you are playing to a fixed budget.

RTP Against Recent Releases

Relax does not print an RTP on its own pages, so the 96.1% here is public game data rather than a studio figure. It means a house edge of 3.9%: over a very large number of spins the game is designed to return, on average, €96.10 of every €100 staked. Against the September releases we compare it with, that is slightly low: PingWin Fly and Disco Inferno sit at 96.16%, Great Game Serengeti at 96.29% and Johnny vs Chicken at 97%. It matches three Relax titles already on Casinofy: Net Gains, Bill & Coin and Aura God. Every gap is under one percentage point.

The bigger question is which version you are playing. Relax's product page lists alternative game IDs for lower-RTP versions, including separate UK and German IDs, and prints no RTP figure for any of them. The RTP in the game's rules at your casino is the one that applies; if it is below 96.1%, you are on one of those versions.

Volatility and Bankroll

High volatility means the return arrives unevenly: long runs of small or no wins, with much of the value in rare, large results. No hit rate or bonus frequency is published to say how long those runs last. At €1 a spin, 100 spins means €100 staked and a long-run average cost of €3.90, but one session can land a long way from that average in either direction. The €0.10 minimum in both modes lets a modest budget cover a lot of spins. Set a budget you are prepared to lose in full, size the stake so it lasts, and stop when it is gone.

What 50,000x and 100,000x Are Worth

At €1 a spin the caps are €50,000 in Standard Mode and €100,000 in Ultra Mode; at the €0.10 minimum, €5,000 and €10,000. They are ceilings, not expectations, and the chance of reaching either is not published. What they do tell you is that much of the potential sits in rare outcomes, so most sessions return less than the RTP suggests and a few return far more. Both sit well above Disco Inferno's 12,500x.
