All American Poker Review
Do you love going to casinos to explore and try out different poker game variants available? How about playing poker in the comfort of your home through a laptop, computer, or even your smartphone for your online gaming experience? Maybe it’s time for you to try out a more fast-paced and exciting variant of poker, with a return to player rate of 96% – All American.
The Jacks or Better poker variant has been dominating the online casino gaming industry for players who want that fast-paced and significant payouts gaming experience. Playtech, an online gaming software company, known for developing online casino games such as video poker, bingo, sports betting, live gaming, and many more, has created their version of All American Poker.
All American Poker is a fast-paced version of Jacks or better with significantly higher payouts for certain hands. There are no surprise cards or free tries in this game and do not use any wildcard or Joker cards. It only utilizes the standard 52 cards from a classic deck.
Thus, it is a simple and straightforward way of understanding the cards and the possible hands that can play out in the game. In every round of All American Poker, you are presented with 5 face-down cards that are horizontally aligned. To start the game, you have to set your bet first.
You can opt from a minimum betting amount of 0.05 Euros to a maximum betting amount of 5 Euros. Once you have set your betting amount, go on ahead and click the deal button. From left to right, the cards will face up one by one.
With whatever cards that are in front of you, you now have the decision to keep or hold any of them by clicking on the card/cards itself. If you do not like your current hand, you do not need to keep any of the cards; just simply click deal again.
Once you’ve chosen the cards you wish to keep, you then click “deal,” and the dealer automatically replaces all the cards you decided to discard. To get the best possible winning hand, it is your call to choose which cards are worth keeping and which cards are not. You have only one chance to redraw in each round.
All American Video Poker, occasionally called USA poker, based its theme on the country itself and its culture, as the name already suggests. It is highly noticeable that they have used this theme in its overall game design. The background illustrates a flag with red, white, blue, and a few visible white stars.
On the right side of the background is an illustration of the world-famous Statue Of Liberty, and on the left side is an image somewhat resembling a copy of the Declaration of Independence.
In the middle of the screen is the paytable.
What makes this different from other poker variants alike is that not only does it show you the possible winning hands with their equivalent payouts. It offers your overall potential payouts from the basis of betting 1 coin to 5 coins. With the maximum bet of 5 Coins, you can get up to 4000 Coins for getting a Royal Flush.
This table is based on a 1 coin bet.
- Royal Flush = 800 Coins
- Straight Flush = 200 Coins
- 4 of A Kind = 34 Coins
- Full House = 8 Coins
- Flush = 8 Coins
- Straight = 8 Coins
- 3 of A Kind = 3 Coins
- 2 Pair = 1 Coin
- Jacks Or Better = 1 Coin
- None of the Above = 0
Right underneath the paytable is the 5 face-down cards placed horizontally. There are three control panel buttons at the bottom of the screen, Bet One, Bet Max, and Deal.
When you click the “Bet One,” this will set your betting amount to 1 coin, while clicking the “Bet Max” will set your betting amount to the maximum.
The “Deal” button has to be clicked to start the game. You can change your betting amount by clicking either the – or + buttons on the screen’s right bottom side.
In terms of special features, the All American Slot does not have any but one. It is the “Gamble,” a double bet feature, wherein after getting a winning hand, you are given the option to either collect your payout right away and play the next round or try your luck and raise the stakes by clicking the double bet option.
Once you decide to click on the double bet button, the dealer then replaces all 5 face cards with new ones. The dealer unveils the leftmost card and claims it as his. It is your goal as the player to choose 1 from the 4 remaining face-down cards for a card that has a higher value than the one the dealer has.
Imagine starting your bet of 1 Coin and landing a Royal Flush, which gives you a payout of 800 Coins. You take your chances and opt for doubling it up. If you win, you can get 1600 coins. Again, you only get one shot at this, so if you do not end up having a higher value card against the dealer, you lose your payout altogether.
All American Review Summary:
It is important to note that since it has an RTP of 96%, it is lower than other Jack Or Better variants. In All American Poker, some of the possible winning hands have higher payouts than Jacks or Better.
In Jacks or Better, getting a straight flush gives you a payout of 50 coins while All American Poker offers you a payout of 200. A four of a kind hand gives you 25 coins from Jacks or Better and 34 coins from All American Poker.
The other winning hands like Jacks Or Better and Two Pair only give you 1 coin, so to get most of the higher payouts, you should aim to get straight flush, royal flush, and four of a kind hand.
To keep those stakes high and that heart racing, test your luck with the “Gamble” option and risk your payouts to get twice as much as possible. This feature is what makes it all the more action-packed and exciting. Lastly, if you want to go home with the biggest possible payouts, you have to set your betting amount to the max and choose 5 coins for each round.
