Bamboo Pandits is an ELK Studios slot released on 6 October 2026, built around three troublemaking pandas, the Pandits, who each trigger a different respin modifier. The headline numbers are a 5x5 grid with 35 paylines, an RTP of up to 94.0% (ELK publishes a range from 87.0% to 94.0%, depending on market and operator), a volatility of 6 out of 10 on ELK's own scale, a hit rate of 25.3% and a maximum win of 10,000x the bet. Stakes run from €0.20 to €100, or the equivalent in other currencies. The free demo above runs the studio's demo build with play money only.

How Bamboo Pandits Plays

The base game uses 5 reels and 5 rows with 35 paylines. Wins pay along lines; ELK does not publish symbol pay values, so the in-game paytable is the reference for what each symbol returns. The Bonus game moves to a larger 6x6 grid with 44 fixed paylines, which gives the round more room for line wins than the base game.

The core loop runs through the three Pandits and the items they collect. Each Pandit is paired with an item: the Multiplier Pandit with rockets, the Wild Pandit with dumplings and the Mystery Pandit with smokebombs. When a Pandit collects its item, it applies its modifier and awards a respin. On top of that, Gust of Wind can fire before any spin and drop extra feature or bonus symbols onto the reels.

ELK's 25.3% hit rate means roughly one spin in four returns something, using ELK's own definition, which the product sheet does not spell out. That is a fairly low hit rate, and it shapes the session more than the volatility figure does: expect plenty of empty spins between returns.

The Features and What They Do

Gust of Wind

Before any spin, Gust of Wind may activate and add multiple feature or bonus symbols to the reels. It is the game's main way of seeding the Pandit modifiers and the Bonus game, so it does a lot of work in the base game. ELK does not publish how often it activates.

Multiplier Pandit

When the Multiplier Pandit collects a rocket, it may add multipliers to random positions before a respin. This is the feature most likely to lift an ordinary line win into a meaningful one. The size of those multipliers is not published.

Wild Pandit and Big Wild

When the Wild Pandit collects a dumpling, it may jump onto the grid as a Big Wild and award a respin. A large wild on a 35-line grid can complete several lines at once. ELK does not publish the size of the Big Wild.

Mystery Pandit

When the Mystery Pandit collects a smokebomb, it may add Mystery symbols to random positions before a respin. Mystery symbols raise the chance of a broad line hit on the respin, though ELK does not describe what they reveal beyond that.

Bonus Game

Three or more bonus symbols spin a wheel that powers up the Bonus game. The round is played on the 6x6 grid with 44 fixed paylines, and any Pandits activated stay persistent for the whole round. Persistence is the key design point: a Pandit that stays active on every spin turns a respin feature into a running modifier, which is where most of the 10,000x potential is likely to sit. ELK does not publish what the wheel can award, how many spins the round starts with, how many Pandits can be activated or how they are activated, or how often the Bonus game triggers.

X-iter

X-iter offers 5 game modes. The cheapest costs 2.5x the bet and gives more than three times the chance of the bonus; the most expensive is the Maxed bonus at 250x the bet. ELK names Lucky Wind and Mega Hunt among the modes but does not describe what they do, and it does not publish the RTP of any X-iter mode. A 250x purchase is a serious outlay at any stake, and without a published RTP for it, a player cannot judge whether it returns more or less than base play.

Reading the Maths

At the top of ELK's range, 94.0%, the house edge is 6.0%. At the bottom, 87.0%, it is 13.0%, more than double. ELK says the RTP depends on market and operator but does not publish which casino runs which version, so check the RTP in the game's rules at your casino before staking.

Against the other releases on our list, 94.0% is low. It matches Pirots 2 at 94%, but Valkyrie and Arctic Duel both publish 96.3% even at its top version. Over a long session that gap compounds: the same total stake returns noticeably less on average here than on a 96.3% game.

Volatility is 6 out of 10 on ELK's scale. ELK attaches no word label to that figure, so we will not translate it. For session planning, the 25.3% hit rate is the more concrete figure: returns are infrequent. For a bankroll, plan for many dead spins and lean on the respin features to carry the base game.

The 10,000x maximum equals Arctic Duel's x10000. The probability of reaching it is not published, so treat it as a ceiling. On a 94.0% game, most of the expected return is spent long before the cap matters.

Not published: Bonus game trigger frequency, wheel prizes and starting spins, Gust of Wind frequency, multiplier and Big Wild sizes, Pandit activation rules for the Bonus game, the RTP a casino runs and each X-iter mode's RTP, what Lucky Wind and Mega Hunt do, the probability of the maximum win and symbol pay values.

Who It Suits and Who Should Skip It

Bamboo Pandits suits players who like modifier-driven respins and a bonus round where features persist and stack. The three Pandits each do something distinct, and the move to a 6x6 grid with 44 lines gives the Bonus game a clear identity. The €0.20 minimum bet keeps it accessible.

Skip it if RTP is your first filter. A top version of 94.0%, with a floor of 87.0%, is a concrete cost compared with Valkyrie or Arctic Duel at 96.3%. Skip it too if a low hit rate frustrates you, or if you are tempted by the 250x Maxed bonus without a published RTP for it. Casinofy is for players aged 18+, and real-money play should only take place at a casino licensed in the country where you live. For other recent launches, see our new slots page.

Verdict

Bamboo Pandits is a carefully designed ELK slot. The Pandit system is coherent, persistent Pandits give the Bonus game a strong hook, and ELK publishes more than most studios: a volatility rating, a hit rate and an RTP range. The maths is the drawback. A 94.0% ceiling sits below Valkyrie and Arctic Duel, the floor is lower still, and the X-iter modes come without RTPs. It is a solid game with a real price attached, scored accordingly.
