Cocks and Robbers is a Red Tiger slot set in a barn that has been turned into mob headquarters, run by a Fox and a Wolf who shake down the farmyard regulars. It went on general release on 7 October 2026, after an Exclusive Early Access window that Red Tiger dates to 30 September 2026. The headline numbers are a 6x3 grid with 729 ways to win, an RTP of 96.20% in the highest published version, a hit frequency of 58.78% and a maximum win of 11,481x the bet, with stakes from €0.10 to €500.00 per spin. The free demo above runs the studio's demo build with play money only, so nothing you win or lose in it is real.

How Cocks and Robbers Plays

The base layout is simple: six reels, three rows and 729 ways to win, so matching symbols pay on adjacent reels rather than along fixed lines. The paying cast is the farmyard: Duck, Turkey, Pig and Lamb, plus the two wild gangsters. Red Tiger does not publish symbol pay values, so the paytable inside the game is the only place to see what each symbol is worth.

The core loop runs through the two wilds. Both can land only on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5, and each one is tied to a pair of symbols. The Fox collects Ducks and Turkeys; the Wolf collects Pigs and Lambs. That design means the farmyard symbols do two jobs: they form ordinary ways wins, and they act as collectable counters when the right wild is on screen. A random Full House modifier sits on top, and scatters lead to the two free-spin rounds.

The 58.78% hit rate is Red Tiger's own figure, labelled Hit Frequency. The page does not define what counts as a hit, so it is safest to read it as "more than half of spins return something", without assuming those returns cover the stake.

Features and What They Do to the Maths

Wild Fox

The Wild Fox substitutes for all paying symbols and collects every Duck and Turkey on screen. Collect 5 or more and it pays an instant prize on a ladder that starts at 3x and tops out at 1000x and 3000x. If a Wild Wolf lands alongside it, the Wolf adds 3 Duck and Turkey symbols to the count, which pushes the Fox further up that ladder.

Wild Wolf

The Wild Wolf expands to fill its reel, substitutes for all paying symbols and collects Pigs and Lambs. If the spin produces a win, it awards a respin and moves one reel to the left, jumping from reel 2 back to reel 5. The feature ends, and the counter resets, on the first spin with no win connection; the prize is paid only on that last spin. The Wolf's ladder is longer and steeper than the Fox's, starting at 10x and climbing through 1000x, 2000x, 3000x and 5000x to 10000x. This is the feature that carries the big numbers, and it rewards chains of consecutive wins, which a high hit rate helps to sustain.

Full House

Full House can activate on any spin and adds a random number of one symbol type (Pig, Lamb, Duck or Turkey) to the reels. More of one type means more ways wins and more for a wild to collect. Red Tiger does not publish how often it activates or how many symbols it adds.

Barn Spins and Super Spins

Three Scatters award 10 Barn Spins, with 1 extra spin for each Scatter that lands during the round. A Wild Fox is guaranteed on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5 on every spin. In Barn Spins the Wolf behaves differently: a win does not trigger a respin; instead the Wolf stays between spins and pays for its collected Pigs and Lambs on a spin with no win, or on the last spin, then disappears on the following spin. Landing 3 Scatters during Barn Spins upgrades the remaining spins to Super Spins.

Super Spins can also be reached directly: 4 Scatters in the base game award 10 Super Spins. Scatters cannot land once Super Spins are under way. Every spin has a guaranteed Wild Fox, and a Wild Wolf is guaranteed on any spin where one is not already present. That double guarantee makes Super Spins the round where the top of the Wolf ladder becomes plausible. Red Tiger does not publish how often either round triggers.

Feature Buy

Four options can be bought: Wild Fox Mania (one spin with a guaranteed Wild Fox) at 3x the stake, Wild Wolf Mania (one spin with a guaranteed Wild Wolf) at 10x, Barn Spins at 50x and Super Spins at 320x. The RTP when buying is not published, and that matters: at 320x per purchase, a Super Spins buy is a large single outlay with an unknown return rate.

Reading the Maths

At 96.20%, the house edge in the highest published version is 3.80%. That sits slightly above the recent Red Tiger releases we have reviewed: Stormfire at 96.15%, Disco Inferno at 96.16% and Thor's Rage 2 at 96.11%. The gap is too small to drive a choice on its own. Red Tiger does not publish RTP variants, so check the RTP in the game's rules at your casino before staking anything.

Volatility is the awkward gap. Red Tiger shows it only as a graphic badge, with no word or figure in its text, so we do not label it. What we can read from the published design is this: a 58.78% hit frequency points to frequent small returns, while the Wolf ladder reaching 10000x and the 11,481x cap show that a meaningful share of the return sits in rare events. For a bankroll, that suggests a base game that returns small amounts often, with the large outcomes concentrated in the Wolf respins and the bonus rounds.

The 11,481x maximum is lower than Stormfire's 25,000x and Thor's Rage 2's 20,000x, and a little below Disco Inferno's 12,500x. Red Tiger does not publish the probability of reaching it, so treat it as a ceiling, not a target. For most players, the realistic value of a session lies in the lower and middle rungs of the two collection ladders.

Also not published: how often Wild Fox or Wild Wolf land in the base game, and symbol pay values.

Who Cocks and Robbers Suits

This game suits players who like collection mechanics and want a base game that returns something on more than half of spins. The Wolf respin chain gives the base game a purpose beyond waiting for scatters, and the two-tier bonus route is clearly explained. Bet sizes from €0.10 also make it practical to try at a low stake.

Skip it if you want a top prize in the 20,000x range: Stormfire and Thor's Rage 2 both publish higher caps. Skip it, too, if you rely on a published volatility label to size your bankroll, because Red Tiger does not provide one in text. Players drawn to the 320x Super Spins buy should know the RTP for that purchase is not published. If you would rather browse broadly first, our free slots library lets you compare demos side by side. Casinofy is for players aged 18+, and real-money play should only happen at a casino licensed in the country where you live.

Verdict

Cocks and Robbers is a well-constructed collection slot. Its RTP of 96.20% is fair and edges out the other Red Tiger releases we compared, the 58.78% hit frequency is unusually transparent for a studio figure, and the Fox and Wolf ladders give both the base game and the bonus rounds a clear structure. The caveats are real: no volatility in text, no Feature Buy RTP, no trigger frequencies, and an 11,481x cap that trails Red Tiger's other recent titles. It earns a solid score in the high 8s, held back from the top band by what Red Tiger leaves unpublished.
