Eye of the Dragon is such a visually appealing video slot game! In the background is a magical forest with strange-looking plants glowing in the bluish-purple light. The foreground is the reelscape, enclosed inside a thin metallic frame. The reels themselves are plain back, which makes the symbols pop out beautifully.
The symbols are perfectly rendered. The low-value symbols (10, J, Q, K, and A) are simply designed. What makes them stand out is the varicolored shading and the sharp and clear style of the artwork. The high-value symbols are works of art. Each of them is a beautifully detailed picture.
The familiar rattling of the reels that Novomatic is so infamous for is replaced by the sound of galloping hooves! And the music is appropriately adventurous – like you would find in a fantasy adventure. The sound effects also are great – especially during the bonus game. Novomatic has done a great job with this game’s overall design.
