Jack and the Beanstalk 2 is NetEnt's sequel with a corporate twist: Jack is grown up, working for a ruthless boss called Goaty Mc Goatface and trading magic beans for crypto gains. It went on general release on 17 September 2026, a week after an exclusive early-access date of 10 September 2026. The headline numbers: a 5x5 grid with 25 fixed paylines, a published RTP of 96.32%, a maximum win of 20,000x the stake and bets from €0.20 to €20.00. The free demo above runs the studio's demo build with play money only.
How Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Plays
Wins pay on bet lines across five reels and five rows. NetEnt does not state how many lines there are; a third-party listing of the game gives 25 fixed paylines, so treat that figure as reported rather than official. Around the line wins, the base game has two jobs: Wilds that walk across the reels and trigger Re-Spins, and Bonus symbols that open the bonus once three are collected. The collection resets after each round, so near-misses do not carry over. Three Bonuses start 5 Bonus Spins; if one of them is a Super Bonus, you get 5 Super Bonus Spins instead. How often either happens is not published.
Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Features and What They Do
Walking Wild Re-Spins
In the main game, Wilds land only on reels 2 to 5, never on a reel that already holds one, as a single symbol or a stack of 2, 3, 4 or 5, depending on the Wild Level. Each carries a x3 multiplier, and Wilds in the same win are summed, so two give x6, not x9. Landing a Wild starts Re-Spins: before each one, every Wild steps one reel to the left, and any new Wild is a higher level with a bigger stack than the last, up to the maximum. The sequence ends when no Wilds remain. Wilds substitute for everything except the Bonus and Super Bonus symbols. One Wild can therefore take part in several Re-Spins as it walks.
Mystery Wilds
Mystery Wilds activate at random at the start of the initial spin of a round and select a Wild level between 2 and 5, after which Wilds may land. May, not will: the feature improves a spin's prospects without guaranteeing a Wild, and its frequency is not published.
Bonus Spins and Super Bonus Spins
The bonus builds coins. It opens with 3 Golden Bean Coins worth 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x, and at the end every Golden Bean multiplier is added together and added to the total win. NetEnt does not say what they multiply, so we will not convert them to cash. Walking Rockets land anywhere except reel 1, start Re-Spins and walk left until they leave, tripling any coin they land or walk on. Battery Upgrade symbols fill a meter: at 3, 6, 9 and 12, the Rockets grow to stacks of 2, 3, 4 and 5 and you get one extra Bonus spin, four at most. The HODL Collector collects the values of every Bean on the reels and leaves a Bean holding the sum; the Stocks Sharer adds 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x to every Bean and leaves a coin of its own; the Card Spreader adds 1 to 8 coins in empty adjacent positions and leaves one in its own.
The Super version mostly changes the starting conditions: every Walking Rocket is a full 5-stack and one of the three starting coins is guaranteed to be 10x. Battery Upgrade symbols cannot land in it, so it keeps its 5 spins. The Super round front-loads its value; the regular round has to build it.
Elevate: Bonus Hunt and Bonus Buys
NetEnt publishes the prices of all four Elevate options. Bonus Hunt costs 1.5 times the bet for twice the chance of Bonus Spins or Super Bonus Spins; Bonus Hunt Extreme costs 10 times the bet for 20 times the chance. Per euro staked, that is a third more chance for Bonus Hunt and double for Extreme. Buying outright costs 75 times the bet for Bonus Spins and 250 times for Super Bonus Spins: €75 and €250 at a €1 stake, or €15 and €50 at the €0.20 minimum. Their RTP is not published, so their value against the base game is unknown.
Reading the Maths: RTP, Volatility and Max Win
RTP Against Recent Releases
An RTP of 96.32% means a house edge of 3.68%: over a very large number of spins, the game is designed to return on average €96.32 of every €100 staked. Of the 16 titles we compare it with, nine are lower and seven higher. Of the September 2026 releases, only Johnny vs Chicken (97%) is higher, ahead of Great Game Serengeti Slot (96.29%), Disco Inferno Slot and PingWin Fly (96.16% each). No alternative RTP versions are published; if a casino's game rules show a different figure, that one applies.
Volatility, Frequencies and Bankroll
NetEnt shows volatility only as a graphic badge, with no rating or figure in its text, so we do not assign one. It leaves the hit frequency blank and publishes no bonus trigger frequency, and that last gap matters most: without it, you cannot estimate how many spins a bonus typically takes, or size a budget to reach one. The bonus result depends heavily on how Rocket triples, Sharer additions and Collector sums combine on a handful of coins.
At €1 a spin, 100 spins means €100 staked and a long-run average cost of €3.68, but a real session can finish far from that in either direction. Set a budget you are prepared to lose in full, pick a stake that gives it plenty of spins, and stop when it is gone.
What 20,000x Is Realistically Worth
The maximum payout is 20,000x the bet, or €20,000 at €1 a spin. NetEnt does not publish the probability of reaching it, so treat it as the top of the range rather than a target. It sits above Disco Inferno Slot's 12,500x, though a few recent high-volatility releases carry larger caps.
What Is Not Published
- A volatility rating in text (only a graphic badge)
- Hit frequency
- Bonus Spins trigger frequency
- RTP variants
- The RTP of the Elevate options
- The probability of reaching the maximum win
- A line count from NetEnt itself
How Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Compares
| Game | Studio | RTP | Volatility | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jack and the Beanstalk 2 | NetEnt | 96.32% | Not published | 20,000x |
| Halloween Jack | NetEnt | 96.28% | High | 7100x |
| Vikings | NetEnt | 96.05% | High | 5600x |
| Disco Inferno Slot | Red Tiger | 96.16% | High | 12,500x |
Against three high-volatility titles already on Casinofy, Jack and the Beanstalk 2 leads on both published figures: its RTP is marginally the highest and its ceiling is well above Disco Inferno Slot's. It lacks only the volatility label the others carry, which leaves the comparison on risk incomplete.
Who It Suits, Who Should Skip It
It suits players who enjoy walking Wilds, want a bonus with moving parts and like knowing what a feature costs before paying for it, since the Elevate prices are published in full. Our NetEnt games hub has the studio's other titles.
It is not for everyone. Skip it if you want frequencies before you commit money: there is no published hit frequency, bonus frequency or volatility rating in text. Skip it too if a 250x buy price is more than your budget should carry. Our new slots page lists the other recent arrivals. Casinofy is for players aged 18+; if you play for real money, do it at a casino licensed in the country where you live, with money you can afford to lose.
Verdict
Jack and the Beanstalk 2 pairs Walking Wild Re-Spins with a genuinely different coin bonus, on a 96.32% RTP that beats more than half of the titles we compare it with, a 20,000x ceiling and fully priced Elevate options. For a reviewer who reads frequencies first, though, the gaps are hard to ignore: no hit frequency, no bonus frequency, volatility only as a badge and a line count from outside NetEnt. That holds it at 8.7: solid, with real caveats. Try the demo first, treat Elevate as a cost rather than a shortcut, and treat any real-money play as paid entertainment, never as a way to make money.
