iDebit Payments, Inc. described its product as “a secure, online banking based payment method available to consumers in Canada”. You logged in through your Canadian bank at the cashier, the payment went to the casino, and the casino never received your banking details. Withdrawals could be returned the same way. It was never available outside Canada, so UK and EU players could not use it even when it was live — earlier versions of this page said otherwise, and that was wrong.
As of September 2026 the iDebit website does not resolve at all: the domain returns no address on public DNS resolvers, and the merchant portal is gone with it. Company-status databases list the business as closed. We could not retrieve a formal shutdown notice from iDebit itself, so we describe it as apparently defunct rather than giving a closure date. Its sister service InstaDebit did publish a notice: it stopped accepting deposits on 27 February 2026 and closed withdrawals on 30 April 2026, naming Interac as the replacement.
Practically, that means a casino cashier still showing an iDebit logo is displaying a method that cannot process a payment. Do not attempt a deposit through it, and do not choose it for a withdrawal.
Deposit minimums, withdrawal caps, wagering requirements and expiry windows are set by each casino, not by the payment method, and they change often.
