TRON is a blockchain network and TRX is its own coin. The project’s whitepaper dates it to July 2017 in Singapore, with the main network launching in May 2018. There is no mining. TRON uses delegated proof of stake: TRX holders vote for 27 Super Representatives, who take turns producing a block every three seconds.
TRON also runs smart contracts, and tokens built on them follow the TRC-20 standard. USDT, the dollar-pegged token, is one of them: its issuer supports it on TRON as well as on other networks. So a cashier can show two different assets that travel on this network, TRX itself and USDT labelled TRC-20.
A block is produced every three seconds. A transfer becomes irreversible once 19 of the 27 Super Representatives have built on its block, which the developer documentation puts at about one minute, and TRON’s own guide for businesses tells them to credit deposits from that point. When a casino actually credits you is still its rule, so check the cashier.
Fees work through two resources. The rates below are the network’s settings as of October 2026.

A plain TRX transfer uses only Bandwidth. The documentation’s example is a 270-byte transfer, which fits inside the free daily allowance or costs 0.27 TRX without it.
A USDT transfer uses both resources, and Energy is the larger part. TRON’s documentation gives no fixed Energy figure for it, and heavily used contracts carry an Energy surcharge. As a snapshot, three USDT transfers recorded in one block on 4 October 2026 used about 64,000 Energy in two cases and about 130,000 in the third, which is roughly 6.4 TRX and 13 TRX at the burn rate. If a contract call runs out of its fee limit it fails, and the Energy already used is not refunded.
Two fixed charges also apply: 1 TRX when a transfer activates a new address, and 1 TRX for a transaction that carries a memo. A casino or exchange can add its own fee on top.
A withdrawal has two stages. The casino reviews and approves your request, then sends the funds over the network. The second stage is final in about a minute. The first is the casino’s own process, and it usually decides how long you wait, particularly if an identity check is outstanding.
Give the casino a T address from a wallet you control, and choose TRX or USDT (TRC-20) to match what that wallet supports. Check whether your casino balance is held in the coin or shown in euros or dollars: a TRX balance moves with the market while you play.
One point is specific to TRON. A brand-new address is not recognised by the network until an existing account sends it TRX, and that first transfer costs the sender a 1 TRX activation fee, plus 0.1 TRX if the sender has no staked Bandwidth. When you withdraw TRX to a fresh wallet the casino is the sender, so look at its withdrawal fee before you request a small payout.

The coin does not decide how well you are protected. The casino’s licence does. On 4 October 2026, 30 of the 344 casinos reviewed on this site listed TRON, 25 of them also paid withdrawals in it, and 23 held a Curaçao licence.
Great Britain. The Gambling Commission does not license casinos that accept crypto deposits. It says such casinos are unlicensed, and illegal where they can be reached from Great Britain, which is an offence by the operator. A TRON casino therefore sits outside the British system, and GAMSTOP, which blocks only sites run by businesses licensed in Great Britain, does not cover it. Malta. A Malta Gaming Authority licence does not by itself allow crypto payments: the casino needs the Authority’s approval first.
Curaçao. The Curaçao Gaming Authority issues and supervises online casino licences. It does not resolve individual disputes between a player and a casino, so a complaint is handled through the casino’s own process.
TRX is pseudonymous, not anonymous. An address carries no name, but TRON’s explorer, TRONSCAN, lets anyone look up transactions, accounts and token transfers as they happen.
The casino adds its own checks. Expect to be asked for identity documents at some point, often before a withdrawal is paid. What you avoid by paying in TRX or USDT is giving card or bank details to the casino.
