Zimpler is a pay-by-bank service. You pay a casino straight from your own bank account, and withdrawals come back to a bank account too. It is not a wallet, a card or an app, and you do not open a Zimpler account or hold a balance with it. If you remember Zimpler as a mobile wallet tied to your phone number, with an invoice option, that product no longer exists.
There is nothing to download and no card to link. A deposit runs through your own bank.
Zimpler describes deposits as instant. At casinos that use Zimpler GO, the same bank login also registers you and confirms your identity, so signing up and depositing happen in one step.
Withdrawals are sent to your bank account. If you have deposited with Zimpler before, the payout can go back to the same account in one step, and Zimpler describes its payouts as arriving within seconds, at any hour of the day.

Outside Europe, Zimpler also operates in Brazil. In Sweden, Zimpler announced in May 2023 that it would end its agreements with gambling operators that do not hold a Swedish licence. Whether a casino offers Zimpler is the casino's choice, so the cashier has the final word.
Zimpler does not charge you for a payment unless a currency conversion is needed. Your bank or the casino may have charges of their own. Because the money moves by bank payment and not by card, there is no card chargeback. A payment you did not authorise is raised with your bank, which decides the outcome under its own terms.
Payments are not anonymous. Zimpler receives your name, national identity number, address and bank account number, and runs identity checks.
The service is run by Zimpler AB in Stockholm, a Swedish payment institution supervised by Finansinspektionen, the Swedish financial regulator. That authorisation also lets it serve other EU and EEA countries. Support is by contact form or email, and Zimpler says replies can take up to 24 hours.
